the Eighteenth Century remained essentially classic, interior design was notable for three things. First there was an advanced planning in domestic arrangements, second there was the creation of a restrained, formal, architectonic, yet flowing style of interior “boiserie” (89). Last there was a happy, feminine fashion in accounterments, all of these characteristics, of course, were altered toward the latter part of the century. In Eighteenth Century England some very talented architects and designers were John Wood, Henry Flitcroft Bath, and James Gibbs. The most popular houses built during this period were known as Georgian Houses(114). This was a smaller house than the earlier castle like structures. The eighteenth century house shared with it seventeenth century prototype a difficulty with respect to its organizing its horizontal and vertical movements. Rows of repetitive sash windows and stories often demarked by string .
